Nemesis Crown Campaign Update.- 25/08/2007 .
The evil side are starting to push through the defences of the good side and are indeed picking up points. The battle weariness is showing on the good side and their armies are being pushed back and even overrun in some quarters. The Nemesis Crown has got to be close, as the rumours are abound that Grimgor himself has mustered a huge army 20 miles behind the ranks of the penetrating evil forces.
The Arch lector von Stricht met his maker, well not his exactly, as his maker doesn’t have a large green hand – squish he went as Mork wanted him really badly! After seeing this the Empire army went to pot and the luck of the Giants held out with the Hellblaster volley gun only bringing them down to a paltry one wound before getting stomped on in turn. Skarsnik’s very disciplined troops (hardly any animosities) were cleverly Waaughed in everywhere to seal the victory. Skarsnik is doing exceptionally well and is revelling at the prospect of the next match – perhaps with his old adversary the Dwarfs. Unfortunately, the murmurs that Grimgor is on the move has not sat well with the Warlord of the Eight Peaks, as he feels that Grimgor would take the credit for his accomplishments thus far.
Steve’s Skaven made a daring raid on Julie’s Dwarfs and gained a valuable solid victory sending the dwarfs retreating to the next stronghold to regroup. However, the stoutly dwarfs came across an insurgence of Orcs on the way and waylaid into them with axes and crossbow bolts. Jon’s Big Bad Boyz didn’t expect this as they were trying a new path but fought back with ferocity, as one would expect. The Boyz were getting beaten but the dwarf lord’s army could not kill the orc’s battle standard bearer to gain the victory. Stalemate it was, and to ensure no more losses were incurred on either side, both backed away to find alternative routes through the dark forest.
