As the noticeboard on this site is rather prone to getting fairly cluttered with posts, and it’s not ideal for being able to keep track of past messages, I’ve created a separate forum for the club.
Please click here to visit the forum. This is the place for members to chat, arrange games, discuss events and so on. Hopefully everyone will find it much more user friendly than the noticeboard.

Hello Folks
Wargamer here living in Kettering and looking to get back into some gaming. Been a few years as gave up for a while.(Young family and career stuff etc).
Interests are mostly in historical gaming. Figures and boardgaming.
Looking to come along on the 27th and see what you are up to if that is OK.
Regards

That’s not a problem at all. We’ll look forward to seeing you next Wednesday.
Out of interest what historical periods are you interested in. At present we mainly do World War 2 and Ancients in terms of periods.

Mostly Ancients in the past (15mm) but I have played a couple of FOW 1st edition games. Got some British unpainted that I was planning to do up as Poles in Italy.
Also done some Naps, ACW and DBR Rennaissance. I’m a bit of a veteran from WRG 6th Edition when I was a member of Glasgow and District Wargames Society.
Board games I’ve played are Memoir 44, Axis & Allies and recently got involved in a Tide Of Iron game.
Willing to have a go at most things.

Hi Carl
Thanks I’ll come along.
Like any good wargamer! I’ve got bits and pieces of a lot of things and nothing finished.
15mm Macedonians waiting for a reason to be finished. I assume you guys do mostly 25mm for Ancients. I’m thinking of making the jump myself as they seem a bit easier to paint. Developments in the plastic 25mm stuff looks interesting.
